What went well?
- I restarted Endgame Studies 101 on Chessable.
- I’m over 25% done with Book 4: Sacrifice to Win. I’ve been adding a few new lines each day in addition to reviewing all open reviews
- I’ve been working on the annotated game collection “Chess: The Art of Logical Thinking.” I’m trying to review one game each day.
- Still no blitz games this month
What could have gone better?
- I have a pretty steady routine each day (see the next section). This week was Thanksgiving so I got out of that routine. Time off is important, but it took me a couple days to get back on track.
- I lost over 60% of my games last week.
What will I try next?
- I use Todoist for all my work/personal to-do list, and I started adding my daily chess goals to that. My daily list currently includes:
- Chessable reviews - tactics
- Chessable reviews - openings
- Chessable - add new tactics
- Review 1 annotated master game
- Complete 1 page in Chess Steps workbook
- Do exercises in Endgame Studies 101
- Play 1 longer (30+ minute) game and do a basic analysis
