What went well?
- I finished “Chess: The Art of Logical Thinking”. It was the first full annotated game collection that I worked through. I’m now going back to “Logical Chess: Move By Move” which is probably the game collection I should have started with.
- I did pretty good in my online rapid games this week. I won 4, drew 2, and lost 1. I did not play as many games, which was also a benefit.
- I started gathering all of my random chess notes into one place. I’m using Logseq because it matches how I work pretty well. I have notebooks, Google Docs, notes on my phone, highlights in books, this website, and probably a bunch of other places I’m forgetting. I want that all in one place and connected.
What could have gone better?
- I’ve been adding more lines to the Learn Chess Chessable course, which is good. However, I’m starting to get backed up and having to spend a lot of time on these. It is about 25 mintues a day. Maybe that is not that bad?
- I have a list of ToDos every day, which has been great. But on weekends or when I am out of my normal routine, they are harder to get done and I stress out about them.
What will I try next?
- Keep up the daily work!
